The Challenge
JunkBoss is a Tauranga-based waste removal and demolition crew competing in a Bay of Plenty market crowded with skip bin operators, franchised rubbish removal brands, and classified-ad cowboys.
Despite having 160+ Google reviews and more than 1,000 satisfied customers, their online presence did not reflect that reputation, and prospects researching 'rubbish removal Tauranga' or 'demolition Mount Maunganui' were landing on competitors first. Most of their jobs come from same-day or next-day searches where speed, trust, and transparent pricing win the click.
Without a credible website, they were losing leads to bigger brands with worse reviews but better digital presence.
Our Solution
We built a modern, conversion-focused site that puts their review count, service guarantees, and before-and-after job photos above the fold, so visitors see the social proof immediately.
Service pages were structured around intent: house clearouts, commercial strip-outs, demolition, green waste, and hoarder cleanups, each with clear pricing guidance and call CTAs. Local SEO was the core lever: we optimised Google Business Profile, built geo-targeted landing pages for Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Papamoa, and Te Puke, added LocalBusiness schema, and earned citations on NZ trade directories.
The site now ranks in the top 3 for core commercial keywords across the Bay of Plenty.
